Hello, and welcome to Heritage Vedanta..!
My name is Ambu C Mohan. I’m a conservation architect, educator, and lifelong heritage enthusiast. With experiences in heritage conservation and an academic background from the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi, my journey in architecture has been driven by a love for history, culture, and the stories embedded in our surroundings.
Why Heritage Vedanta?
Heritage Vedanta was born out of a desire to uncover India’s hidden heritage—the remarkable sites, practices, and narratives that often remain overshadowed by more well-known landmarks. I wanted to create a space dedicated to celebrating these lesser-known aspects of our history, bringing attention to sites that offer insight into Bharat’s diverse architectural and cultural legacies.
What You’ll Find Here
Through Heritage Vedanta, I aim to share stories of places, people, and traditions that speak to the richness and depth of India’s heritage. Whether you’re a heritage enthusiast, a researcher, or simply curious, my hope is that each post will open a window into a piece of India’s past, inspiring a deeper appreciation for its heritage.
Join Me on This Journey
Heritage Vedanta is more than a project—it’s a journey, and I’m excited to share it with you. As I work on uncovering hidden stories and lesser-known sites, I invite you to come along. Together, we can learn, preserve, and celebrate the unique heritage that makes India so extraordinary.
Thank you for visiting, and welcome to Heritage Vedanta!
